Welcome to Illinois Valley Aftershock!

 

Established in 1989, Illinois Valley Girls Fastpitch—also known as Illinois Valley Aftershock—is a 501(c)(3) competitive fastpitch softball organization serving athletes throughout the Illinois Valley area.

For more than 35 years, Aftershock has helped hundreds of young athletes develop their softball skills, knowledge of the game, and love for competition.

Our coaching philosophy goes beyond wins and losses. We are committed to helping our players build a strong foundation for success on and off the field through:

• Softball fundamentals and advanced skill development

• Teamwork and sportsmanship

• Discipline and accountability

• Time management and prioritization

• Confidence, leadership, and a strong work ethic

At Aftershock, we aren’t just preparing our athletes for the next game or tournament. Our goal is to give every player the skills, knowledge, confidence, and character she can carry with her into future seasons and beyond softball.
